Straight Path

This film was produced to communicate Toray’s corporate philosophy and core values to using a narrative approach that focused on people. The story was based on a survey conducted during research and recognizing the need to create a compelling work that resonates not only in Japan but also with people worldwide. This film was written by Director Yu Yamanaka and then re-written in English by Kennedy Taylor. This film was shot in two countries, Thailand and the USA. With the amazing support of local artists, stylists, and production service, we were able to recreate the Vietnamese scenes completely in Thailand. It has been shortlisted as a finalist for The Drum Award’s B2B Rebranding category. Furthermore, we were selected as a Finalist in the “FILM: Products & Services” category at the New York Festivals Advertising Awards 2024, and won the National Competition Branded Shorts of the Year at the Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia (SSFF & ASIA) “BRANDED SHORTS”.
